Unreal

Ann Arbor musical treasure Laith Al-Saadi, joined by saxist Keith Kaminski (a member of Bob Seger's horn section) and trombonist Walter White, rocked the crowd at Liberty Plaza in downtown Ann Arbor on Thursday during Sonic Lunch. It was Laith's ninth time playing Sonic Lunch in eight years. Always an impressive show.

Take Me To Church

This is Jude Kincer, a street musician from Annapolis, Maryland, who is currently traveling around the country and passing through Ann Arbor. He's about to fly to London and backpack his way to Tokyo, playing his music along the way. During his stop in Ann Arbor, he serendipitously teamed up with Claire from Lansing, whom you can hear harmonizing here on a cover of Hozier's "Take Me To Church."

Ann Arbor Art Fair 2015

For four days every July, downtown Ann Arbor is guaranteed to be bursting with color as artists from near and far flock to show and sell their artworks, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, jewelry and more, during the annual Ann Arbor Art Fair, which is actually made up of multiple fairs that seamlessly run together and fill nearly every street across the expansive downtown. I made my annual trek through on the second day of the fair this year with camera in tow. Here's what I saw through my lens. The fair runs through Saturday.
