Freed, Um?

Ben Freed joined the staff of AnnArbor.com as a full-time business reporter on May 29. He's an Ann Arbor native but freshly transplanted from Texas. With his hire, AnnArbor.com now has a full news team. He sat in my desk for his first week and a half on the job while I was away from the office. He graciously moved when I returned, but left me some inspirational posters filled with inside jokes. Follow Ben on Twitter.

Welcome to AnnArbor.com

So I took a job working for AnnArbor.com as a digital journalist in late July. Our newsroom, where I primarily work from when I'm in the building, is located on the seventh floor at 301 E. Liberty St. in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. But we recently opened our first-floor community room, shown here, which is a work space for our bloggers and anyone who wants to stop in and say hi.
