The Arts of Life Band is the musical arm of a nonprofit agency that cultivates the artistic talents of the developmentally disabled population in the Chicago area. These rock stars, led by non-disabled musicians, took to the stage on Sunday afternoon during the Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest with original tunes such as "Shark Attack" and "Puppies And Babies." Dave, in the turquoise shirt, stole the show with his moves. Despite his handicap, he is one of the sharpest, wittiest people I've ever met — you can always count on him to deliver a good zinger. Oh, and that's M-Dog with the mic. He likes Eminem and 50 Cent and raps about being happy and proud and thankful.
