Grand Haven
Grand Haven, Mich., is exactly what the name implies: a grand haven. Nestled along Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Grand River, this city of 10,000 has been recognized for having one of the top beaches in the nation. Its history is as a logging, shipbuilding and manufacturing community, but today it is a fairly popular resort town.
