Four For Four
From left to right, Democrats David Rutledge, Gretchen Driskell, Adam Zemke and Jeff Irwin will represent Washtenaw County in the Michigan House of Representatives for the next two years. Reign Supreme
Ann Arbor's Bridget McCormack garnered national attention in September when the cast of the West Wing reunited to make a video supporting her campaign for Michigan Supreme Court. The video clocked more than 1 million views on YouTube, and so maybe it's no surprise that Michigan voters remembered McCormack's name on Tuesday when they went to the polls. Defeat
The postmortem of the Ann Arbor District Library's campaign for a new downtown library began early Tuesday night, as soon as election results showed the proposal failing in key precincts. Supporters of the Our New Downtown Library committee who gathered at the Real Seafood Co. acknowledged their message obviously didn't resonate with voters. By the end of the night, they had accepted defeat, but they weren't budging on their position that a new downtown library is needed. Read the story.

Grand Old Party
Gov. Rick Snyder and fellow Republicans rallied at Mitt Romney's Ann Arbor Victory Center on Washtenaw Avenue on Election Eve Monday night. Some of Romney's family was on hand for the event. Go here for a slideshow with captions.
