Powering Up

It's looking more and more likely that the Ann Arbor City Council will offer Marquette County Administrator Steve Powers the city administrator job Monday night. The other candidate is Ellen Oppenheim. Both made appearances at a public reception held Tuesday night in the lobby of the city's Justice Center, following a three-hour interview process. On Wednesday, the council listened to presentations from both candidates and a majority of council members favored Powers. Read the story.
